Join P&G Divine Wings in Making a Difference

In December 2019, founder Pamela Branch experienced the profound loss of her husband after 38 years of marriage. Through her grief and healing journey, she came to understand how deeply life changes when you lose someone who has been your partner in everything—your best friend, provider, and protector.

Moved by compassion and a desire to help others navigate similar pain, Pamela organized a Widows Ministry in 2021. From its beginning, the ministry has focused on thoughtful acts of care and connection—providing special gifts on Mother’s Day and Christmas, presenting poinsettias during Thanksgiving, and offering regular check-in calls throughout the year to let members know they are never alone.

In 2024, the ministry was formally named P&G Divine Wings and in 2026, P&G became a Non-Profit Organization. That same year, Pamela created a Widows Toolkit, featuring 11 carefully chosen items designed to support widows and widowers through the first few years of their grief journey.

Over time, Divine Wings expanded its outreach through educational and support sessions covering topics such as grief, elder abuse, financial wellness, and safety and security. What began as a support network for widows and widowers has since grown into a community that also embraces elders who are grieving or enduring abuse, offering them compassion, resources, and hope.
